Hollie, Gus, + Wendy

This session was something really special for me. Hollie is a big reason I pursued art in my life the way I have. Her and I met when I was in 5th grade and she was my “big sister” in a program my hometown had. We used to spend hours together painting, drawing, and talking about horses. Her horse Gus also played a role in our story when I leased him in high school to show. Now Gus is a sassy old man and it was an honor to be asked by Hollie to photograph him in this stage of life. We also included Wendy in some photos as way back in 2010, before I even officially started my business I took a photo of Hollie riding up to me with her two horses in this pasture before we went riding so of course we had to recreate it and I am so happy with how they all turned out….
